Dr. Johana Cortés

Dr. Cortés loves being able to transform people’s smiles as well as their self-confidence and lives through her work. Also, she deeply enjoys developing a very special connection with her patients due to the nature and length of orthodontic treatment. Her ultimate goal is to make the journey as pleasant as the end result, and she can’t wait to show you what’s possible for your teeth and appearance!

Born and raised in San Juan, Dr. Cortés attended the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus before earning her DMD at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine.

She then completed her residency at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx before receiving her specialty training in orthodontics as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry from Case Western Reserve University.

To make sure she only offers the most advanced and effective treatment available today, Dr. Cortés is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
